SALSA RECIPES
CHILI CON QUESO
INGREDIENTS
- 8 Oz. VELVEETA, Cut Into 1/2-Inch Cubes
- 8 Oz. Cream Cheese, Cubed
- 1/2 Cup Evaporated Milk
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Roasted Red Peppers
- 1 Scoop of your favorite Hot Mess Brands Salsa Seasoning
GARNISH IDEAS
- Chopped Cilantro
- 1 Jalapeno Pepper, seeded and diced
DIRECTIONS
- Mix all ingredients in medium saucepan.
- Cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated and well blended.
- Serve immediately. (Keep warm in a low crockpot)
VARIATIONS
- Prepare it in a crock pot on low for 2 or 3 hours.
- Prepare it in a microwave Place in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir. Repeat as necessary till creamy and hot throughout. Transfer to serving bowl or crock pot to serve.
- Add a 15 oz. can of chili (no beans)
- Add a ½ lb of cooked ground meat or chorizo.
- Add a can of petite diced tomatoes (drained)
KITCHEN TIPS
Serving Suggestion: Serve with assorted cut-up vegetables or tortilla chips.
SIDELINE DIP
INGREDIENTS
- 8 Oz. container Chive and Onion Cream Cheese, softened
- 8 Oz. Sour Cream
- 1 Scoop of your favorite Hot Mess Brands Salsa Seasoning
GARNISH IDEAS
- Chopped Cilantro
- Jalapeno Pepper, seeded and dicedÂ
- Diced roasted or fresh tomato
DIRECTIONS
Mix all ingredients in bowl.
Serve immediately or prepare in advance, then cover and refrigerate.
VARIATIONS
Substitute French Onion Dip for the Sour Cream.
Substitute Plain Greek Yogurt for the Sour Cream
Substitute Garden Vegetable Cream Cheese.
Substitute Neufchatel Cheese for Cream Cheese.

Use an electric mixer for a creamier texture.
